Valentine's Day Mini-Sessions!

Frequently Asked Questions

Rather than history, we'll give you our take. We define boudoir as pictures highlighting sex appeal in a removed, relaxed setting. That setting is typically a bedroom, but a studio shoot allows us to indulge in special effects.

The moods we create vary, and our favorite shoots usually involve mixing different feels. We can do reserved, artful, centerfold, pin-up—and we're not intimidated by that Pinterest pose you want to show us.

We've discounted our sessions to make them affordable Valentine's gifts. $149.99 covers styling and your session!

You can then print with us, print on your own, or simply gift a password-protected gallery to a special someone.

Call, text, or email us to find a time! We're available many weekends and most weekdays. A $50 deposit secures your date. The $50 is applied toward (reduces) your total package price. We accept cards through Square and checks by mail.

Square is a secure company that processes payments. You've probably used them at a shop or restaurant.

Make sure you drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your shoot, have a snack beforehand, moisturize from head to toe, and come dressed in loose clothing.

We recommend you bring 3 to 4 outfit options, including a mix of lingerie, something of your significant other's (a favorite shirt, dog tags, cap), and any other props you might like (a garter, a veil, heels, and jewelry). We'll help you decide what to wear. We suggest that you arrive in loose-fitting clothes.

Between the setting, your attire, features you may want emphasized, and the attitude you want to convey, finding a good pose depends on a lot of variables. Have no fear! We'll be directing you throughout the shoot.

Every one. We honed our mastery of Photoshop before ever picking up a camera professionally. You can rely on our responsible retouching to effect a "digital spa treatment," which erases the lie of the lens. For a consideration of ethical limits of retouching, please see our blog post on the subject.

The mini-sessions are quick. Hair and makeup will take about 30 minutes. The shoot itself will be an additional 20-30 minutes.

Our partnered stylist Janae Naab will be there help you achieve your look. Come with clean, dry hair, and your makeup foundation applied. She can help define your lips and eyes as well as style up your hair.

Most of our clients ask us to create high-quality photo books. But our partnered lab offers a range of spiffy products, from calendars to metal prints.

In most cases, it's no problem for us to find another date. However, as these mini-sessions are popular and time-sensitve, we reserve the right to retain the deposit.

Absolutely. We'll preview your images on a password-protected gallery using an unlisited link. Only you and those whom you give the password will have access.

However, if you're too excited to keep them under wraps, just let us know! Featuring our favorite images on this site encourages clients to be brave and schedule their own session.
